Go Organic at Ilog Maria

Ilog Maria Honey Bee Farm or simply “Ilog Maria” is situated along Emilio Aguinaldo Highway in Silang, Cavite. It is known for its honey (of course) and other organic products.  I went there with my aunt to buy a citronella spray for mosquitoes; and also for me to feature something here. Hahaha!

Whenever I go there, I just visit the shop to buy something that interests me and I’m done. But I decided to be a tourist (in my own home town) to know what can this farm offer us aside from their shop.

Ilog Maria Honey Bee Farm Shop

The shop is okay. You’ll see a lot of products from different kinds of soaps to candles made from beeswax. If you are looking for a product that is organic, handmade, and has honey in it, there’s a big chance that you’ll see it there.

Beeswax Candles

Some of the products you’ll see in Ilog Maria Honey Bee Farm are soaps, honey cider, beeswax, extra virgin honey, bee propolis, bee pollen, mosquito repellent, beeswax candle, and a lot more.

At the back of the shop, you’ll be able to see the mini factory where they make some of their products like the soap. The place was so open that you can see and observe how they make their products. Visitors aren’t allowed inside though.

I think this is their mini factory. There’s no sign saying that it’s the factory but I saw some people making stuff there so I assume that it’s their factory. haha! 🙂

I walked further down and I saw these fantastic “stingless” bees. Who knew that stingless bees exist in this world?!? I had a chance to observe them closely. They looked like black ants with wings.

They also have a museum-like area in this farm. In this place, you’ll be able to observe bees in their respective beehives. Some facts about the Farm and the bees are also present here.

Blogging Goal no. 123: Upgrade to “.Com”

Today, the 13th of March, 2016 (Just a few moments ago), I finally have a “.com” site. It’s been a dream of mine to purchase http://www.iamziano.com. I didn’t even have a blog back then, but it was clear to me that I liked to have one.

I was planning to have a travel blog, though it’s kinda impossible for me to achieve that now because my schedule is nailed to work. I hope that this move will ignite everything it needs to ignite for me to set some time just for travel and blogging. 😉

This is indeed a happy night. Good night folks! I hope that you’re having a wonderful day/night (well, whichever applies to your time zone). XD

My First Blog Entry

Hello world! Having my own blog site was a “not so big dream” of mine. Being a famous blogger or having well flooded traffic on my site was just part of some daydreams in those most boring hours of my college years. I just wrote this “blog entry” on a piece of scratch paper (yes! You read it right XD); then I’m going to transfer it on my laptop hoping that this “blog entry” will be published someday. If you are reading this now, then probably my “not so big dream” had already come true or you’re a thief (who stole my laptop) ;).

By the way it’s February 8, 2013 today (the day I wrote this entry) and just wondering… when would this blog entry be published on the World Wide Web?  I just hope that I’m not wasting my time now trying to make a blog entry for nothing.
